Job Title: Senior ABAP Developer
Experience: 4+ Years
We are seeking a seasoned ABAP Developer with extensive experience in SAP environments to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development, customization of SAP modules, financial reporting, and S/4HANA database administration. Additionally, proficiency in implementing and optimizing database security measures for S/4HANA systems is crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) within SAP systems.
• Customize SAP modules according to business requirements, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements or new features.
• Utilize ABAP debugging tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Develop and optimize financial reports, including FOIRI reporting, to provide insights into business performance and compliance.
• Administer S/4HANA databases, including performance monitoring, tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Implement database security measures for S/4HANA systems to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, incorporating them into development processes as appropriate.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and development within the team.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an ABAP Developer in SAP environments, with at least X years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and customization techniques.
• Extensive experience with financial reporting, particularly FOIRI reporting, within SAP systems.
• Proficiency in S/4HANA database administration, including performance tuning and backup/recovery.
• Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing database security measures for S/4HANA systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies and methodologies.
• SAP certification(s) in relevant areas would be a plus
