Job description
Position – Metal Cutting Tool Application Engineer
Location - Pune

Roles and Responsibilities
§ Technical – Aluminium and Die Mould Machining
o Study the machine parameters and characteristics.
o Understand the product drawing to identify the tooling requirement.
o Identify the tooling from our global tooling partners.
o Submit the query sheet to Application Manager.
o Provide further inputs for the queries raised by Tooling partners.
o Participate in tooling trials.
o Release the tooling trials reports.
§ Research
o Map the cutting tools currently supplied by KatanaMech Solutions.
o Identify the customer feedback on the mapped tools.
o Locate the Domestic and International competitors for the tools.
o Provide the Cost comparison of the multiple players.
o Visit the customer sites and map the tooling with KatanaMech Solutions team.
Education: B.E. / B.Tech. – Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Automotive
Experience: 7 to 8 years
Reporting: Application Manager
Working timings - 9.30 to 18.30 hrs
