Responsibilities:
1. Icon Design:
• Create visually appealing and cohesive icon sets for mobile applications that align with the app's brand and user interface design.
• Develop icons that are intuitive, recognizable, and effectively communicate app functionality.
2. Conceptualization and Ideation:
• Collaborate with the design and development teams to understand app features and user experience, translating concepts into creative and meaningful iconography.
3. Consistency and Branding:
• Maintain consistency in icon design across different platforms (iOS, Android) while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the overall visual identity of our mobile applications.
4. Adaptability:
• Create adaptive icons for Android to ensure a seamless appearance on various device screens and orientations.
• Stay updated on platform-specific design guidelines and implement them in icon creation.
5. Feedback and Revisions:
• Actively participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback to refine and improve icon designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design requirements and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Graphics Designer with a focus on icon design for mobile applications.
• Proficient in graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Sketch.
• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile app icon designs and an understanding of design principles.
• Knowledge of platform-specific design guidelines for iOS and Android.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design work.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with motion graphics or animated icons.
• Experience in designing for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Knowledge of emerging design trends and technologies.
