Hybrid Working
Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:
This role will hold responsibility for specific analysis, design and oversight elements of specific initiatives within the broader Finance Transformation program. You will be “hands on” supporting transformation activities to ensure outcomes align with finance architecture strategy.
The role will be varied, depending on the initiative and the stage in the project life cycle requiring Liquidity Transformation support. This will include data analysis, process assessment, and future state operating model/process design, promoting best practice design concepts and solutions.
The role will give you exposure to the forefront of liquidity change, and experience across the breadth of LRR and wider functions within Treasury.
What will you be doing?
The Liquidity Transformation AVP is accountable for supporting specific initiatives as part of the overall Liquidity Transformation Strategy. This will include:
• Analysing data to support data sourcing design;
• Working with end users and technology to understand and document current and target data flows and processes;
• Creating specific detailed user stories forming part of the overall end to end process;
• Designing future state report and dashboards;
• Preparing topics for review with Liquidity, Project & Technology stakeholders;
• Documenting elements in support of data taxonomy, reference data and calculations;
What we’re looking for:
• Financial services experience, within retail and/or investment banking;
• Knowledge of Treasury, Risk or Finance process, system and technologies with experience working on a variety of technology focused projects in these areas;
• Business analyst skills including data interrogation, process design, requirements documentation, user story creation and system UAT testing;
• Excellent Microsoft office skills, with the ability to produce best in class Powerpoint presentations and complete detailed analysis in Excel;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of Liquidity Reporting returns (e.g. PRA110, LCR, NSFR, 5G) or internal Liquidity management;
• Experience using data manipulation tools (e.g. Qlikview, Business Objects, Lumira, SmartView, SQL, SAS, Alteryx);
• Process mapping using Microsoft Visio;
