The primary responsibility is to lead key strategic projects of the company, in-line with the company s strategy
The position holder leads the management of diverse stakeholders (internal customers), ensures full visibility of ongoing projects progress, leads delivery of engagements and associated outputs, supports the team in engagement work/project management and delivers high-quality deliverables
They work with consulting senior management to develop opportunities of improvement and help them achieve the desired transformation through execution of changes
This position may involve periodic travel to Novartis locations where full-time or part-time on-site project delivery is required for internal customers
Key Responsibility
Leads the program from discovery to deployment phase (which may include large scale implementation, technology platform development, change management)
Can independently drive outcomes, build impact based on organizational / stakeholder priorities, and exhibit thought leadership in areas of expertise.
Lead Consultant is also encouraged to manage relationships with stakeholders in senior-level leadership positions.
Lead Consultant assumes overall responsibility of project quality and drive project direction with the stakeholders including project planning, resourcing, ways of working and issues management.
Project delivery responsibility with high quality along with team supervision to achieve successful outcomes, within the planned budget and timeline.
Coordinate and sustain workload of project teams and act to develop teams working effectively.
Lead Consultant will mentor others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.

Essential Requirements:
Around 15 years of business transformation experience in management consulting, leading medium to large complexity projects
8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure area and 5+ years of people management experience, leading cross-functional teams and managing relationships with business customers
Knowledge of drug development process, including preclinical studies, clinical trials, regulatory requirements, and post-marketing surveillance.
Understanding of regulatory guidelines, such as FDA or EMA, and ability to ensure compliance throughout the drug development process.
Understanding of overall research & development ecosystem like : Phases, Key Activities, Key players, Compliance/regulations, Process, System, benchmark, standard methodologies, etc
Familiarity with various phases of clinical trials, including protocol development, patient recruitment, and data analysis.
Excellent project management skills to effectively plan and coordinate drug development cycle across cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges in research & drug development.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to present findings and strategies to internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in research & drug development domain , including personalized medicine and novel therapeutics.
