Looking For CAD Engineers For Global IT MNC @Pune
Must-Have: CAD Engineer
Experience: 3+ years
Location: Pune
Job Responsibilities: - Making drawings/layout for detailed design approval for Welding fixtures & Assembly Robots, Special purpose Automation machines, Material handling pick/place and assembly systems, Robotics -Gripping systems and overall robotic cells, Material feeding mechanisms, Conveyors,
- Provide technical support to customers during all phases of design & development including product validation, start of production (SOP), and post-SOP.
- Communicate all engineering and development issues as needed to internal functions - Program Management, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Warranty, and Engineering Management.
- Prepare and conduct technical presentations (Customer internal).
- Drafting the required design specifications as per the standard available process. Quality check of the prepared drawings.
- Assist and lead root cause analysis of technical issues in CAD & drafting service requests.
Requirements - Educational Qualifications Diploma/B.E. Mechanical
- 3 -6 years of work experience
- Nature of experience - OEM Auto / Auto Ancillary (tier 1) preferred.
- CAD: AutoCAD (Primary) Solid Edge (secondary), SolidWorks (tertiary).
- Competencies - Detail Drawing, GD &T, Solid, Assembly modeling
- Knowledge of Factory Automation / Plant Layout Design / Robotics
- Thorough understanding of GD&T, stack-ups
- Working knowledge of at least one PLM (team Center, SAP)
- Understanding of materials, and heat treatment process is required.
- Working knowledge of sheet metal, Casting, Forging, Stamping & Welding processes is essential.
- MS-office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
