Summary:
The Master Data Management Developer/Configurator will play a critical role in engaging with stakeholders and technical team members with technology projects that focus on mastering and governing customers, products, pricing, and chart of accounts. This position will be responsible for engaging with the business, documentation, assisting in scrum activities, assisting in configuration, analyzing, and defining and implementing data quality rules, data analysis, and contributing to the development of the Oracle Customer Data Management platform. This role will report to the BEST Data Services Senior Manager in our Business Enterprise Systems Technology department. The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach and will be assisting developers and architects with our Master Data Management (MDM) platform and processes.
A successful MDM Developer/Configurator must take a hands-on approach, ensuring the best service is provided to our business stakeholders, with accurate documentation and adherence to deadlines. This role will also work with key stakeholders across the organization to drive enhancements to a successful implementation and ensure all data quality rules meet requirements and are deployed and implemented properly.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Responsible for engaging with multiple teams (both technical and non) and gathering disparate requirements to analyze, define, and implement data quality rules.
- Responsible for supporting project team delivery efforts on Customer Data Management (CDM) by designing and developing data enrichment processes.
- Responsible for configuring and maintaining the Oracle CDM systems, including data models, hierarchies, data quality rules, and data workflows.
- Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Responsible for working with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide solutions that support their needs.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining data mapping rules and transformations to ensure data is properly integrated across the Oracle and NON-Oracle systems.
- Responsible for identifying and troubleshooting MDM system issues and providing support to end users when they encounter data problems.
- Helping build out MDM roadmap and strategies ensuring high quality and scalable solutions.
- Assist operational teams in testing and configuration changes needed to support complex business processes.
- Will work with broader team to assist in the design of the business layer rules within the Oracle CDM platform.
- Adopt a proactive, hands-on approach to resolve any issues related to these platforms.
- Analyze business problems and propose innovative solutions based on rigorous data analysis.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore business and technical teams to assist with creating solutions for complex internal business operations.
- Manage stakeholders and foster timely, data-driven decision making.
- Work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop high-level designs.
Required Knowledge/Skills :
- Minimum 3 years as a hands-on Developer experience on Master Data Management implementations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle ERP/Fusion SaaS/PaaS project implementations as a technical developer.
- Hands-on knowledge of CX Sales Customer Data Management & Receivables in Oracle Fusion Cloud or equivalent MDM Tool (i.e., Informatica, Reltio, etc.).
- Strong experience/Knowledge of E-business Suite modules in R12/Fusion
- Strong experience/Knowledge of Oracle E-business suite and technology
- Extensive Knowledge on underlying database structure for ERP/Oracle Cloud (Fusion)
- Extensively worked on BI Publisher reports, FBDI/OTBI, Groovy Scripting and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Experience in working with REST APIs
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles.
- Knowledge of data quality rule best practices.
- Minimum of 3 years working on data quality management.
- The activities for this role are 40% functional 60% technical.
- Proficient in designing and implementing process workflows and data diagrams.
- Proven Agile development experience, you can understand what Epics, Features and Stories are and can define one.
