Job description
Your Role:
Establish business relationship and work closely with functional leaders to ensure products and services adhere to business strategy, compliance and controllership standards within the business
Spearhead and coordinate ERP strategy and execution. Continue select, train, develop, manage and lead a new ERP organization
Define future product offerings, organizing build and execution of overall ERP Roadmap
Create a consistent communication rhythm on organization and operations status, keeping software engineering and management, global operations, finance and functional partners in sync with overall initiative outcomes, establishing a full wing to wing closing applications operational support model, driving closing cycle time and service level improvements
Actively pursue new methods and practices to reduce eco-system complexity
Establish and foster a work culture at all levels that is positive, collaborative, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity, and capable of driving positive change over sustained periods of time
Spearhead and support the team to successfully deliver ERP design and implementation projects to build new and enhance existing tool capability for Finance, Operations/Supply Chain, Services, Order management, Engineering business processes as well as contemporary infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Minimum 10 year experience implementing large ERP programs with cross-functional processes and functionality
In depth functional knowledge in MS Dynamics ERP in multiple areas of the product (Finance Operations, Project Operations, Supply Chain …)
Demonstrated experience in Merging & Acquisition processes and in leading IT transformations, Rollout, ERP Migration.
Excellent Steam-like business process understanding and footprint dynamics
Experience in “turn-key project” business (Steam, Grid, Hydro, Nuclear, …) is preferred
Experience leading programs and process automation, developing a large team of IT professionals. Demonstrated stellar coaching and mentoring skills
In depth functional knowledge in MS Dynamics ERP in multiple areas of the product (Finance Operations, Project Operations, Supply Chain …)
Demonstrated capabilities in the management of complex projects (Project and/or Program Management), including the proven ability to deliver on-time, on-budget, high quality deliverables
Demonstrates expert level skills in collaboration with different stakeholders, influence, ability to take strategic view
Business Acumen:
Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems
Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective
Leadership:
Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas
Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill
Personal Attributes:
Able to work under minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members. Shows ability to effectively delegate work
