Role: Product / UX Designer
Experience: 1 – 3 years
Location: Chennai (work from office)
Joining time: Immediate - 4 weeks
Education: Architecture or HFI or Diploma course from NID
What you'll do:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts.
- Work closely with a product manager and engineering stakeholders.
- Understand customer problems in order to build our roadmaps.
- Develop and maintain the user experience we should provide our users.
- Unpack complex user issues by working with the UX researcher.
- Create specific documents to guide UX strategy.
Required skills:
- 2+ years of hands-on product design experience.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience conducting research and applying insights to your designs.
- Knowledge of modern design tools and design systems (Figma and/or Miro).
- Ability to balance technical constraints, business requirements, and marketing considerations. Strong knowledge and understanding of optimizing the user experience.
- Experience actively creating marketing content from a user perspective.
Nice to have:
- Experience designing tools for online collaboration.
- Experience using complex graphics tools, motion graphics, 3d graphics, or something similarly creative.
- Experience designing highly interactive UIs.
- Experience applying design thinking to problems outside of product design.
- Knowledge about utilizing suitable software to create prototypes and assess functionality.
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX designs is a plus.
- Hands on in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
