Responsibilities Digital 2D Units to be taught : The course will be comprised of fundamental 2D Digital media experiences, including introductory experiences with Adobe Bridge, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign. The following components will be specifically introduced in the following units: Digital Fundamentals and Adobe Bridge - File management, passwords, pixel vs vector, email, file compression, software navigation, digital image archive, related constructs with Academic Archives, proper scanning and shooting fundamentals as articulated by current software, hardware and device technology. Adobe Photoshop Fundamentals - Intro to Layers + Blend Modes: print vs. digital display Content aware: 3 tools: Clone-stamp, selection, content aware Take image-adjustment layers: masks, Isolation (ISO) + Transformation + Mask & Refining Edge Adobe Illustrator Fundamentals - Drawing w/ pen tool: Bezier Curves + Image imbed Pen tool, shapes, recolor artwork, artboards Shape tools, pathfinder, panels, modifying shapes (path + fill separated) Adobe InDesign - Creation of multi-page booklet Illustrator + Photoshop: Use Bridge + daFont + all tools explored thus far, including all assets created from Illustrator and Photoshop Projects. Qualifications Masters in Visual Arts or Digital arts Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Patience and skilled in softwareJob tags
