For more information: Job Description:- Responsibilities:- · Manages a group of product development teams working on enterprise applications in Insurance domain. · Ensure proper communication concerning changes in established milestones or challenges that may affect the outcome of a project's completion date. · Balance priorities and work assignments across team members following agile processes to meet delivery schedules. · Interface with project management and offering managers to understand customer requirements and business prioritization, work with architects and technical leaders to build development plans. · Drive development activities, monitor progress, collaborate to align dependencies, remove blockers for team members and manage risks. · Validate Key Architecture Decisions · Implements Sapiens development methodologies and enforces compliance in high quality. · Hold regular meetings with all departments/stakeholders to ensure open communication and expectations throughout a project. · Build and maintain a highly scalable team. · People management of technical talents, executing HR programs for employee acquisition, development, performance management and optimization, retention, and separation · Reporting implementation progress, meeting budgetary targets, quality products and more. Requirements:- · Relevant degree in Science or Engineering, BE in Computer Science desirable. · 12+ years of IT industry experience with excellent exposure in product development setup working with enterprise applications. · Proven managerial abilities - minimum of 5 years professional experience managing or leading teams, of which at least 3 years specific experience in managing development groups. · Experience organizing training initiatives for departments within the company. · Extensive knowledge of management theory and practical applications in the workplace · Strong knowledge and experience in Java 8 & above, Spring, spring boot, Spring data JPA/Hibernate, Spring batch, Spring JMS, Spring REST, Wildfly , Oracle/MSSQL using SOLID principles. · Experience with any Cloud infrastructure · Experience with tools: ClearCase, GitHub, ServiceNow etc.Job tags
