Job Description - Cloud Engineer
Reporting Structure : CIO Part of Management Team: No Team Size: Individual Contributor Designation: Cloud Engineer Work location: Hyderabad/Vijayawada Purpose of Job Oversees Eruvaka cloud computing systems, from front-end platforms to data storage to servers. Ensure all data solutions are organized, secure and efficient. Job Role We are looking for a Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust, scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for Eruvaka. This will include IoT device management, Data/Network Security, Data Visualization, Data Analysis, Automation, DevOps and so on. Responsibilities Analyze business requirements, architect, design, actively develop cloud-based solutions in AWS/Azure in accordance with best practices Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc Build scalable production systems (Load balancers, Memcached, master/slave architectures) Validate the environment to meet all security and compliance controls Implement automation in SDLC wherever possible to improve the time to market and reduce chances of error Leverage appropriate AWS/Azure services AWS/Azure IoT solutions experience with terraform is must Work with cross-functional departments to achieve the overall Company goals Solve non-trivial coding, infrastructure vulnerabilities and architecture problems with simple and innovative solutions Implementing ZERO downtime in production systems Perform environmental analysis on quarterly/monthly basis to identify architectural improvement opportunities Building cloud and application monitoring dashboards and alerts trigger Linux and Windows system administration Document architecture and infrastructure designs Required Skills Experience in creating and promoting architectural initiatives, balancing long-term strategy with short-term customer needs Hands on experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Expertise in CI/CD pipeline, tools, techniques and deploying solutions in Cloud Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Strong knowledge of IP Networking including VPCs, VPNs, VRF, DNS, load-balancing, and firewalls Knowledge and understanding of global security policies In depth and proven knowledge of AWS and Azure services Terraform high level experience is must Efficient and independently motivated Qualification and Certification Bachelor’s degree Azure, AWS, and GCP certifications preferred Any links to your prior work (interfaces/websites/code) are welcome Work Experience · Minimum 8 years’ experience as a cloud engineer Leadership Competencies Networking and security Fluency in key programming languages (Python) Data Storage Integration architecture Communication and collaboration LeadershipJob tags
