Purpose

of

the

Position: Digitization and automation of L&T Shared Services Centre (SSC) HR processes using automation as core tool in addition to building Integration Interfaces. Establish and maintain IT set up for SSC and supporting business with data lakes, visualization of MIS dashboards, Analytical Reports, Predictive analysis by implementing AI/ML on the past data.IT Strategy and road Map for continues improvements.

Leadership

and

Management: Provide leadership to the SSC (Shared Services Center) IT team, ensuring a cohesive and motivated work environment. Effectively manage and oversee the IT team, promoting collaboration and efficient workflow.

Automation

and

Process

Improvement: Drive proactive initiatives to automate processes within the Shared Services Center. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements through the implementation of technology solutions. Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and integrate them into the SSC's operations.

Technology

Platform

Enhancement: Take the lead in enhancing the technology platform used by the SSC. Ensure that the technology infrastructure is up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices. Work on improving system performance, scalability, and security.

and

Partner

Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective communication with vendors providing IT solutions and services. Collaborate with external partners to leverage their expertise and resources for the benefit of the SSC. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Strategic

Planning: Develop and implement a strategic IT plan aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the organization. Align IT initiatives with business objectives and contribute to the long-term success of the SSC.

Risk

Management: Identify potential risks related to IT systems and work towards mitigating them. Implement and enforce security measures to protect the SSC's IT infrastructure and data.

Continuous

Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team and the SSC as a whole. Regularly assess and optimize IT processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaboration

with

Stakeholders: Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements. Collaborate on cross-functional projects to support the organization's overall success. Overall, the position is instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of IT operations within the Shared Services Center, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.

Proven track record of leading teams of 20+ members to successful project completion.
