Job description
Key Focus:
The primary focus of this role is to coordinate with North production sites for reporting of Product costing, Process Costing, Cost of Production Analysis, Variance Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, Inventory Valuation, Slow Mover Analysis, Overhead analysis and control and sharing inputs to management for improvement required in various areas of Plant performance Indicators, hence should have proper understanding of plant operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
➢ To do Product Costing of all SKUs of the organization with help of ERP, should have expertise in the area.
➢ Should have clear understanding of Bill of Material and its change impact on Product cost
➢ Should understand routing / hourly rate / cycle time concept to derive conversion cost /added value of each SKU
➢ To Track Commodities movement on month on month, YOY and Budget vs actual
➢ To do Inventory valuation and control activity each month, will be responsible for slow movers' analysis, utilization of the same. will do cycle count of the inventory on regular basis.
➢ To Track various Inventory movements impacting profitability
➢ Product analysis on YOY, Budget vs Actual Basis, understanding each element of the same.
➢ Volume Mix Analysis YOY and Budget vs Actual
➢ Material variances and Added value variances analysis with detail analysis
➢ To coordinate with various stakeholders to perform budgeting activity along with actual with variations
➢ To validate productivity or Cost saving projects running in plants and confirming ROI of the projects
➢ Understanding of plant performance indicators such as Volume analysis, Cost effectiveness, Cost variance analysis, Labor efficiency, Capex Analysis, Days of Stock, Cost of capital employed etc.
➢ To help manager on consolidation overheads, Scrap Reco, Cycle count etc.
➢ Adhoc requirement related to Statutory Audit, Group Audit and Cost Audit
