This position will report to the SVP, Global Sales and would be responsible for leading revenue generation and customer acquisition primarily in the MEA and APAC regions.

Roles & Responsibilities
- As a critical member of the sales team reporting to the SVP, Global Sales, you will develop and implement a strategy for acquiring new customers in MEA and APAC regions. You will be responsible for the entire sales and expansion plan for both existing and newly acquired customers.
- Work closely with Partners to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Build and develop a dynamic sales team that can help exceed revenue targets across Go-To-Market channels – direct, partner-based and SaaS.
- Be actively involved in prospect generation with your assigned business development and account executives and/or by self.
- Leverage executive-level relationships to enhance Gathr's presence.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Gathr's clients and partners. Motivate the sales team and partners to achieve the best results possible
- Set activity and revenue targets for each member of the sales team for new customer acquisition, retention and expansion. Monitor performance on a regular cadence
- Train and develop all members of the sales team continuously
- Control performance and optimize the sales structure by changing/adding sales resources and partners as necessary
- Continually optimize sales processes
- Work closely with marketing and product engineering to provide intelligence on our solutions to support the sales process and to win against competition
- Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads
- Report weekly/monthly on sales performance against budget and on deviations
- Conduct quarterly sales reviews and forecast for next 12 months
- Drive QBR's with customers as required
- Work closely with Pre-Sales Engineering teams, Customer Success and Solutions teams and other stakeholders to build winning sales proposals and phenomenal relationships
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive, global enterprise sales leadership and operations experience within the IT software industry.
- Experience leveraging, building, and managing enterprise sales teams in MEA and APAC regions; proven record of recruiting and enabling top talent.
- Experience selling to IT divisions of Fortune 500; willing to 'roll up the sleeves' and sell and help teams close deals when needed.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives (revenue targets, pipeline targets, etc.)
- Experience utilizing CRM systems, marketing automation systems, out bounding tools (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Outreach etc.)
- Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
- Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload
- Ability to travel as needed

Skills Knowledge and Abilities:
- Demonstrated Success in nurturing customer relationships and driving revenue
- Good knowledge of IT Technology, data ingestion/ETL, analytics space.
- Some experience in Enterprise focused Product companies (B2B)
- Business Development, Sales or Pre-sales leadership roles.
- Strong technical depth
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Good analytical and creative problem- solving skills
- 'People person' who is confident and has a versatile personality
- Entrepreneurial mind set
- Strong organizational, process and time management skills are critical - must adhere to deadlines, multi-task and be able to prioritize.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision, and in a team environment
