Job description

One of our automotive breaking manufacturing client is looking for Team Lead with Suppliers of commodity - Casting (Al & CI/SG), Machining, and Friction moulding process. To provide support in the development of 'Outsourcing Focus area' - Iron Castings (CI/SG), Al - PDC parts etc. Background- preferably from the Auto industry with hands-on experience in Foundry and Casting

Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering) with 4 8 Years of Experience.

Skills: Supplier Quality, Foundry Experience, Casting (Al & CI/SG), Machining, Friction moulding process.

Job description :

New Supplier assessment/approval.

APQP & Manufacturing feasibility review during new part development.

Production part approval process of child parts and sub-assy.

Quality issue resolution during new part and serial production.

Analyze existing parts manufacturing process and suggest improvement.

Exposure to Quality System requirement and handling customers during audit.

Process proving experience in Al Casting - PDC, SG Castings - DISA Line parts with machining process.

Handling the above activities with Suppliers of commodity – Casting – Al & CI/SG, Machining, Friction Moulding etc

Increase in Development activities in the area of Casting - Aluminium (PDC/GDC), Iron Castings combined with machining as part of Outsourcing activity
