Job description
As a Social Media Strategist with 1-3 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage audiences, and drive business growth. You will work closely with marketing teams to create compelling content, analyze campaign performance, and stay abreast of industry trends to optimize social media presence.
Responsibilities:
Develop Social Media Strategy:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to define social media goals and objectives aligned with overall business objectives.
- Research target audience demographics, preferences, and behavior to inform content strategy.
- Create comprehensive social media plans encompassing content calendars, campaign timelines, and performance metrics.
Content Creation and Curation:
- Generate engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) that resonates with the target audience.
- Curate relevant content from industry sources and user-generated content to supplement brand messaging.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all social media channels.
Community Engagement and Management:
- Foster meaningful interactions with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and mentions relevant to the brand.
- Cultivate brand advocates and influencers to amplify reach and credibility.
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
- Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Optimize social media strategies based on performance metrics and audience feedback.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
- Monitor emerging social media platforms, features, and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark performance and identify best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Understanding of SEO principles and their application in social media.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
