SQL Developer:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SQL queries and databases to support our organization's data needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database management systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to support business applications.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Perform database maintenance tasks, such as backups, restores, and data integrity checks.
- Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to understand data requirements and develop database solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug SQL queries and database-related issues.
- Document database designs, processes, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in database development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven work experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database concepts.
- Experience with database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with database design and normalization principles.
- Knowledge of indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in database administration or SQL development.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
