Cloud Solution Architect – IoT Digital Services Platform Location - Bangalore, Noida
Ideal Candidate Reporting the head of Solutions & Business Development track, the person will be providing the best solution to meet the industry needs and anticipate their future needs based on an understanding of the market. Should understand different (latest and greatest) Cloud Services and have ability to solve problems and suggest / recommend solution in Cloud. We are currently seeking a good foundation of Software Technical Architect followed by ability to work with our prospects and client’s cross domain. The Cloud Solution Architect would need to have at least 10+ years of hands-on experience. This Candidate will be a contributing member as part of the Software Architecture and Digital Services Platform delivery Team. He/ she will create the Solution Design specifications (Cloud centric) and work with close co-ordination with the Business Development teams for solution activities on-site along with Strategic customers for various Platform based projects/initiatives. The role involves a lot of consultative skills, coordination, communication while working directly with the Heads of Line of Business. He/ she will work within the global Solution & Development GTM team (primarily US and India) to deliver against initiative and small enhancement portfolio objectives. Roles & Responsibility - Gather & document customer digital initiatives and requirements and work on complex RFx (RFI, RFQ, RFP) documents issued by the customer. - Create a Reference, Logical and Technical / Physical Architecture for customer next generation Digital Service Platform using Cloud PaaS Services and Platform - Strong ability to suggest and defend architecture decisions and choices based on the latest technologies to internal stakeholders - Ability to evaluate and recommend digital services platform like IoT platform to customer based on the user stories and requirements - Ability to conduct Design thinking persona-based workshops to understand customer issues and suggest solutions - Conduct prototypes and PoCs for digital services requirements and analysis and testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability. - Work with development team to develop MVPs on Epics and User Stories and ability to contribute and work with the UI, UX teams for new mobile and web applications for Digital Service Platform initiatives - Conceptualize UMLs, Context diagrams, Class Diagrams, and sequence diagrams to translate customer requirements to modular microservices and APIs - Assist in microservices design document for standard / core and Line of business microservices - Deep understanding of automated devops & devsecops scenarios and environments for digital services to scale. - Generate test summary reports and recommendations on Architecture design document for management review (CxOs)- Suggest new tools and techniques to improve efficiency in features and functions of customer epics and user stories and software development process. - Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and tracking activities in RFI, RFQ, RFP (RFx)- Provide support in project design, development, and deployment activities in RFx - Review and recommend improvements to existing procedures and scale MVPs (minimum viable product) to CVPs (commercially viable product)- Ability to work with the customer IT systems and multiple teams for requirement analysis and detail out Integration scenarios and deliver them as software cloud design specification document and recommend in the customer digital service platform architecture Desired Skills & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/B.E. or equivalent - 10+ years of application software development experience with at least 3-4 years of it involving microservices and APIs design document and development - Extensive knowledge and experience on software application development with Performance engineering, testing and monitoring tools along with Low no / No code Platforms like Mendix - Testing Coordination experience – Full understand of End-to-End application development process and experience on how and when to engage different teams such as DBA, Dev or System admins. - Excellent Soft Skills (Communication – via email, phone, live-meeting etc.) - Experience with Agile development methodologies along with Test and Data Driven Developments - Hands-on Experience in devops tools – cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises like JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub - Solid Understanding & Experience in Data Platforms and Cloud Platforms - Good knowhow of containers, K8s, K3s, Docker, Serverless technologies, migration and modernization of applications, data, devices, security into cloud first approach - Know-how and good hands-on experience on Cloud PaaS services like Azure, AWS, IBM, Google, Alibaba clouds and IoT and AI Platforms - Speaking / presentation skills in a professional setting and ability to influence and defend cloud and software architecture and decisions - Knowledge of test automation and tools and mobile development platforms - Hands-on Experience with Continuous integration and delivery with Performance Testing. - Hands-on Experience on IoT Platforms like Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, PTC ThingWorx, IBM Watson IoT, Siemens Mind sphere, Open-Source messaging platforms like RabbitMQ, KubeMQ, Eclipse Mosquito, Solace, HiveMQ - Know-how of IoT devices, protocols, telemetry data and device commands, device registry and device management and device security - Know-how of new IoT Innovations like Digital Twin, Digital Thread, Sustainability with Twins Experience in complex projects is a plus.
