Roles & Responsibilities
In the capacity of Executive, Pre-cast Scheduling at PTC, the individual is responsible for scheduling and coordination of pre-cast activities. This role demands a keen understanding of aerospace casting processes, materials management, and preparing monthly production plan, creating a comprehensive maintaining Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) while ensuring real-time stock availability. They play important role in tracking material consumption, addressing irregularities, and ensuring a streamlined manufacturing process. This involves managing resources and schedules to meet production targets and uphold high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring safe work environment within the working area along with safety officer, Quality and Operation Head.
- Ensuring proper material handling and prevent the FOD/Counterfeit parts in their concerned area.
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production plan and ensure execution as per the plan.
- Scheduling of raw materials on a daily and weekly basis, based on orders shared with the production department.
- Generate MRP report through ERP, share quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily material plan considering direct raw Material, direct consumables (Ceramic) to purchase and production department.
- Collaborating with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure real-time stock availability of materials required for pre-casting, minimizing delays and production disruptions.
- Investigating and addressing irregularities in material consumption, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective measures to enhance efficiency.
- Working closely with the quality control team to ensure that incoming materials meet the required specifications.
- Implementing quality control measures to address irregularities in material consumption.
10. Generating and analyzing reports on material usage, stock levels, and procurement metrics.
11. Preparing and providing the MIS reports, maintain accurate and comprehensive records of production activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education and Certifications:
· B. Tech/B.E. in Production/Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or a related field.
Experience:
· 1+ years of proven experience in planning, material handling, stores in manufacturing industry, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Technical / Functional Expertise & other competencies:
- Diploma/Degree in Production/Mechanical or related field
- Proven experience in a planning role within a casting manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace casting.
- In-depth understanding of aerospace casting processes and industry specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Well versed with the knowledge of all 7 QC tools.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in aerospace manufacturing.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
