Job Description :- Technical Delivery Manager+ Data Engineering tech stack(Should be good in Data Lake,Data pipeline & Data Ingestion including Python, Spark & Scala tech stack expertise.- Knowledge or ability or working to drive projects purely in the space of Data pipelines, data Ingestion over Azure data bricks or Google cloud platform or AWS- Ability to understand how the data transformation happens using predominantly using tools like Python ,Spark ,ScalaJob Description :As a Delivery Manager specializing in Data Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful delivery of data engineering projects. You will lead a team of data engineers, work closely with stakeholders, and ensure the timely and effective implementation of data solutions. Your role involves managing project timelines, resources, and communication to drive successful project delivery within the data engineering technology stack.Key Responsibilities :1. Project Planning and Execution :- Develop and execute project plans for data engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.- Oversee the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.2. Team Leadership :- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.- Allocate resources effectively and ensure that team members have the necessary skills and tools to meet project objectives.3. Stakeholder Management :- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.4. Technology Stack Expertise :- Possess a deep understanding of data engineering technologies, tools, and frameworks, such as ETL processes, data pipelines, data warehouses, and big data technologies.- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data engineering to make informed decisions regarding technology stack selection.5. Quality Assurance :- Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of data engineering solutions.- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define and execute testing strategies.6. Risk Management :- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.- Proactively address challenges and obstacles that may impact timelines and deliverables.7. Budget and Resource Management :- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to meet organizational and client objectives.- Provide regular updates on project financials and resource utilization.8. Continuous Improvement :- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the data engineering team, optimizing processes and workflows for increased efficiency and effectiveness.9. Documentation :- Ensure comprehensive documentation of project plans, technical specifications, and implementation details.- Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team and to relevant stakeholders.10. Compliance and Security :- Ensure that data engineering solutions comply with relevant data protection regulations and security standards.Qualifications and Skills :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager in the field of Data Engineering.- Strong understanding of data engineering technologies, including ETL processes, data modeling, data warehousing, and big data frameworks.- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward project success.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.- Experience with data visualization tools and platforms.- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
