Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Logistics, this position will be responsible for:
- Managing secondary transportation which includes managing the freight budget and vendor development-related activities
- Monitoring performance mechanisms and development for transporters
- Managing warehouse operations such as selection of warehouse, costing, negotiations, daily operations, overheads and detentions, and safety
- Driving central improvement agenda for the warehouse
- Monitoring aging and obsolesce of stock and preparing stakeholders to take necessary actions
- Managing customer services
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate is an MBA from a tier 1 institute with 4-10 years of hands-on experience in managing logistics, warehouse, and customer service operations in the FMCG or Food and Beverages industry. They should have managed operations for large volumes. They should have strong stakeholder management skills and would be able to work in a cross-functional and dynamic setup. They should possess clear and concise communication skills.
