Job Description - Training Manager
Sport Focus Investments Private Limited is the Master Franchisor of The Little Gym USA for
more than 7 years. We started our operations with our first centre in October 2014 in Kolkata and
grew to more than 20 operating centres prior to the pandemic. We have restarted operations this
year and are excited to share that we are now back to 16 centres and our goal is to have 20
centres by this financial year. Our mission is to grow this brand to over 150 centres in the next 5

What is the role
We are currently looking for a Training Manager who would be responsible for facilitating and
drive training for The Little Gym India.
What would you do
- The training manager will provide and facilitate training related to all day-to-day gym operations including (but not limited to): program, customer service, sales, marketing, staffing,budgeting & planning.
- You will be responsible for consulting, doing training needs analysis, creating training solutions and facilitating training exercises and workshops pertaining to the various topics like day-to-day gym operations and on-going continued learning.
- The Training Manager will also be responsible for training content creation and training assessments.
- Coordinate all aspects of on and off-site training events for The Little Gym Franchises and Managers.
- Keep all training manuals up-to- date based on the most recent TLGI standards
- Track, coordinate, facilitate and create reports regarding new Franchise Owner training schedules complete special projects as assigned by the Head of Training.
- Create and maintain training metrics for The Little Gym of India training team.
- Work with the head of training to design the annual training and development calendar that addresses needs and expectations, deploy a wide variety of training methods to ensure coverage in trainings
- Leverage external experts from academia or industry for training where relevant. Identify possible university tie ups; manage all logistics and coordination related to training.
- Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions. Improve training effectiveness by developing and testing new approaches and techniques.
- Occasionally teach The Little Gym classes for Kids, to stay in touch with the product.
- Track and communicate training attendance and effectiveness to key stakeholders, Maintain the overall training and development MIS and present monthly reports of plan versus achieved on the annual training plan.
- Finally the training manager is a values driven person, enjoys challenges, loves to work with people, and understands the importance of working in teams in a challenging and fun driven environment.
- Sound training will be provided for the desired candidate. The Little Gym India is now entering its growth phase and there are many opportunities for growth and personal development in the organisation
What do you need
- Fun and loves children!
- 5 to 7 years of training facilitation, content creation and learning and development experience.
- Strong sales and customer services training experience
- Ability to plan and impart sales training and manage all training logistics
- Stakeholder management & Client Consulting experience
- Induction/Employee Orientation management
- Strong eye for detail, a go getter attitude
- Physically fit & Sports oriented
- Easy going & a team player
Work days & Timings - Monday to Saturday ,10 AM to 7 PM
