Job description

As a PR Manager, you will be responsible for managing the business reputation and positioning of your clients in India, and globally, as well as delivering an integrated communications strategy that is aligned to key business objectives. We are a lean team that likes to share its cookies and ideas during breaks.

Responsibilities:  Independently develop and oversee the development of media strategy, goals, media targets, pitch angles and other media materials  Demonstrated knowledge of top-tier traditional and social media outlets relevant to client business; able to generate and guide teams to deliver strong media relations results  Managing stakeholders and communication during a crisis and communicating it effectively to those affected  Maintain regular client contact, providing counsel on strategic matters and prospect information  Manage and oversee core program elements, keeping client programs on schedule and ensuring all deadlines are met  Monitoring and measuring the impact of PR campaigns through input and out metrics aligned with the goals of the organization  Account for quality control and client-ready review of all letters, memos, meeting reports and other press materials  Serve as a day-to-day team leader to mentor team members through direction, suggestions on issue resolution and identifying opportunities for team members- professional development We are looking for someone who:

 Has 5 to 7 years of working experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, and/or Journalism  Understanding of, and passion for, the start-up ecosystem, and empathy for the unique needs and experiences of a founder  Ideally, have experience working for or with start-ups  Excellent written and oral communication skills  Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and organizational skills, while also staying on top of tactical execution  Self-manager who can figure out what to do and make it happen
