Job Description:

A Tele-Sales Advisor crucial role in educational institutions, particularly in the field of higher education. This position involves a combination of sales and counselling skills, as the primary responsibility is to engage with prospective students, understand their educational goals and needs, and guide them in making informed decisions about their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Engagement:

Reach out to prospective students via telephone, email, or online platforms to initiate conversations about educational programs offered by the institution.

2. Needs Assessment:

Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective students to understand their academic aspirations, career goals, and educational preferences.

3. Program Information:

Provide detailed information about the institution's academic programs, including curriculum, admission requirements, application procedures, and any other relevant details.

4. Sales Pitch:

Use persuasive communication techniques to highlight the benefits of enrolling in the institution's programs, emphasizing how they align with the student's goals.

5. Advisory Role:

Act as an academic advisor, guiding students in selecting the most suitable program, courses, and specialization based on their interests and career objectives.

6. Follow-Up:

Maintain regular contact with prospective students through follow-up calls, emails, and reminders to ensure they stay engaged and informed.

7. Objection Handling:

Address any concerns, objections, or questions that prospective students may have, providing satisfactory solutions and information.

8. Data Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with each prospective student in the institution's database or customer relationship management (CRM) system.

9. Sales Targets:

Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and enrolment goals by converting prospective students into enrolled students.

10. Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of education and sales.

11. Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on industry trends, educational programs, and competitor offerings to provide the most relevant information to students.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales, tele-sales, or telemarketing, preferably in the education sector.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.

Empathy and the ability to understand and address the unique needs of each student.

Knowledge of the institution's programs and educational offerings.

Familiarity with CRM software and data management tools.

Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Ethical and professional conduct in all interactions.
