Speech Therapy Assistant

This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Therapy Assistant. The Speech Therapy Assistant will work closely with a certified Speech Therapist to provide speech therapy sessions to children with autism and learning difficulties. The Speech Therapy Assistant will assist in monitoring the progress of each child, maintaining accurate records of each session, and supporting the Speech Therapist in carrying out assessments and developing treatment plans.

• Speech Therapy knowledge, including basic understanding of techniques and strategies
• Communication skills, particularly in working with children with special needs
• Education background or relevant experience in a related field
• Experience working with children in a therapy or educational setting
  

Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include:

• Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
• Knowledge of different communication disorders
• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
