Job description

Job Level: Manager (Engineering -Learning & Talent – Digital)

Purpose of the Job: Responsible for supporting the learning and development needs for ~2500 employees at Airtel Digital encompassing activities like defining training strategy, formulating training programs, training need identification, feedback and training metrics, working with internal leaders and external vendors for training delivery, structuring training programs for various levels within the organization.

Key Deliverables: Top Talent Development: Designing the Academy journey for the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP); End-to-end design & execution of the various journey elements, including Bootcamp, Self-Discovery & IDP creation, MDP, mentoring, immersions etc. Ensuring a strong governance & best-inclass experience for the cohorts. Instructor Led Workshops (External or internal) designed around Unified Behavioral Framework (UBF) & General/Professional Skills: Analyze the existing portfolio and design new programs/revisit existing programs in the areas of UBF or General Skills (like excel, project management, etc); Evaluate external facilitators and formats & drive the overall learning coverage through workshops; Seek inputs & collate feedback on further enhancement and improvements for the interventions incorporate those inputs continuously into the learning interventions. Learning Shots: Drive Learning Shots - our most popular format of Learning - which includes a series of byte-sized learning sessions conducted by internal leaders & external experts; Drive and administer its various avatars (including Editor’s picks & Learning Shots ReWind) and work with HR team & Business leaders to ensure a continuous flow of new & relevant topics across multiple domains.

Functional Projects: Drive design and rollout of modules for building functional capabilities for the organization like Finance for non-Finance, Network for non-Network and drive creation of modules/content on these. Also, role would involve working on other functional learning projects based on behavioural needs emerging from functional/business Training Needs Assessment. Enhancing the Learning Culture at Airtel Digital by creating communications, having discussions, encouraging the employees to utilize the online learning platforms for self-paced skill development, working with various stakeholders to ensure optimal utilization of various learning resources, certifications etc. Administration & Governance of Learning Framework, guidelines & policy like CEP, Budgeting, etc.

Skills Required Tech skills understanding, Ms Excel/Analytics Problem solving, attention to detail & innovative approach Strong stakeholder management skills; establishes good relationships and builds wide and effective networks of contacts Execution Excellence & program management skills Learning Agility Adept at working in an ambiguous environment Aware about the current and future trends/ best practices and uses the same to formulate strategy and initiatives; Keeps track of business metrics to take decisions.

Educational Qualifications: MBA It would be preferable if the candidate has done a Learning/talent management or consulting stint in the past, and has created an impact on talent development through effectively influencing & shaping the capability agenda for their respective unit.
