Borzo
(aka Wefast) is a same-day delivery service founded in 2012, like Uber for courier delivery. Every day, our couriers deliver 60,000+ parcels using iOS and Android apps. Our main markets are India and Russia . We are also present in Turkey, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, Philippines. In India, we provide our service for Apollo, KFC, Zepto, Bigbasket, Blinkit, and Pizza Hut. We are looking for a skilled iOS Developer having profound experience of developing iOS applications in production. Work remotely or hybrid (offices in Mumbai and Delhi). iOS Developer responsibilities: Working on product tasks for Client iOS App (customers) and iOS App for Couriers (riders). Also refactoring and technical improvements of the Apps. In the iOS App for Clients, the key-feature is the Order Form. You have to support and improve a product part that affects the conversion and key business metrics. iOS App for Couriers contains a lot of Courier working modes, a mechanism of background location tracking, a complex Registration form, and a mechanism of Courier approval. Both Apps have interesting features and will be a good challenge for a skilled iOS Developer. iOS Apps are written in Swift . Projects moved to SwiftPM . No more Pods and Carthage. Apps are partially split to separate SwiftPM feature-modules. We continue to separate App with each product task if it possible or in a part of Tech-debt tasks. The presentation layer is written with VIPER without Router, but with Coordinators for navigation. For layout we use PinLayout. Right now we are in the process of composing a plan for migration to SwiftUI . We might rewrite our Presentation layer to MVVM, because it's more convenient for SwiftUI. You are our ideal candidate if: You have 3+ years of iOS development. You are fluent in English (must have). You have experience in working on Big iOS applications for business. You know how to discuss problems with colleagues in a reasoned manner. You are constantly learning and exploring new technologies, tools, and approaches. A few words about us: We have around 100 people at HQ. And 830 people in the whole company. 40 people in the development department. Employed in Russia, India, Armenia, and Portugal. All developers are clever. Almost all of them are senior level and above. First we think, argue, and only then we do it. No any superior orders. We like to help each other. It's part of our culture. Frontend: TypeScript, React, Redux. Mobile apps: Kotlin and Swift.
