JOB TITLE: SSDET Automation Testing Web API
Lets first tell you a bit about ourselves
Work with one of the oldest and most experimentative ecommerce technology
companies of India.
Identify and create automation tests for products and platforms.
Write scalable automation code and integrate in CI pipelines.
Own complex enough automation pieces and modules of the project.
On a typical day you would
Take the project ahead on the technical goals.
Mentor the other relatively junior members of the team.
Help in growing your team and other teams in the organization by
participating in the Hiring activities.
About your work and team
You will work in a team of senior and junior Developers helped by a Scrum
Master to manage the agile ceremonies working towards quarterly (rolling to
annual) targets of the business for the Product and Business owners. The
offshore and onshore Software Architects will help you and the team align your
suggestions on the technical architectures you propose. You will report to the
Team Lead Automation Testing Web for regular professional growth.
You are eligible for this role if you are
Graduate or above in CS or other Engineering/Computing streams.
3 years of experience in web automation testing and development.
You must have
Good experience in using and developing Web Automation frameworks.
Strong coding skills in Java with a focus on objectoriented development
debugging and a deep understanding of the development process using
Git including experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions..
Excellent handson development using Selenium and Rest Assured
Experience in defining Metrics for measuring Quality determining
effectiveness and efficiency of tests and overall product quality.
Proficiency in API automation testing using RestAssured and Postman.
A collaborative teamplayer mindset with a willingness to take on
leadership roles when required.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
It will be nice if you have
Passport to travel on need basis in a suitable environment. Better still if
you have a valid US Business Visa.
Experience in performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
Exposure to Caches and Event Driven Systems.
