Overview

Waters Clinical Business Unit is looking for an UPLC-MSMS technical expert in clinical analysis. Someone who is genuinely excited by customer success and is ready to work at our customer sites in hospitals and clinical labs to ensure that our customers can provide reliable clinical diagnostics to their patients. We want you to be the person that these lab analysts are happy to see each time you visit.

This role is based in Bangalore, India and requires up to 50% national wide travel to assist the regions.

The ideal candidate would have both and applications and Instrument troubleshoot background.

Responsibilities

The main responsibility of this role is ensuring the success of our clinical laboratory customers in India by providing LC-MS applications and software support. Typical work falls into these categories.

  • Method implementation
  • Method development
  • User training
  • Presale activities
  • Corrective actions
  • System preventative maintenance

The ideal candidate will already be familiar with many of the analytical methods in use in these labs currently and be able to work completely independently. As a Application specialist level position we would expect the candidate to have a firm grasp of their local market situation and a strategic plan for how best to use their technical skill set to further Waters market share, in addition to a high level of technical competency.

Qualifications

A degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry or similar, a post graduate degree is a clear advantage.

At least 10 years UPLC-MSMS experience, although the more experience the better.

Ideally your experience will involve Waters' single and tandem quadrupole MS systems and/or working in the clinical UPLC-MSMS analytical field.

Experience with ToF systems a bonus.
