Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Chemist to join our Ethanol Production Plant team in Bardawan District West Bengal. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of handson experience in a similar role with a strong background in ethanol production processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Process Optimization: Lead efforts to analyse and optimize ethanol production processes ensuring efficiency yield and quality standards are met.
   

2. Quality Control: Implement and manage robust quality control procedures to maintain ethanol product specifications and compliance with regulatory standards.
   

3. Analytical Expertise: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to monitor and interpret data troubleshoot issues and enhance overall plant performance.
   

4. Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership to a team of chemists and laboratory technicians fostering collaboration and innovation in the ethanol production process.
   

5. Safety Compliance: Ensure all ethanol production processes adhere to safety regulations and protocols. Implement measures to mitigate risks and hazards.
   

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of experiments processes and results. Prepare detailed reports for management review.
   

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering production and quality assurance to achieve common goals and resolve challenges in ethanol production.
   

8. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry advancements and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve ethanol production efficiency and sustainability.
   

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry or a related field.
   
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior chemist role within an ethanol production plant.
   
3. Indepth knowledge of ethanol production processes including fermentation and distillation.
   
4. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
   
5. Leadership abilities with experience in managing a team.
   
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
   
7. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
