CCD operates through Coffee Day Global Limited (CDGL), a subsidiary of Coffee Day Enterprises Limited. CDGL is arguably India’s largest coffee retail conglomerate with leadership position also in the automated beverage dispensing solutions under the brand name Coffee Day Beverages with distribution across more than 1330+ towns and cities across India. CDGL also operates a network of 280+ refreshment kiosks offering affordable food and beverages for on-the-go customers under the Coffee Day Xpress brand name.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities of the Role :

1. Payroll HR ensures accurate and timely payment to employees by calculating employee wages, including salaries, bonuses, and deductions such as taxes, insurance premiums, retirement contributions, etc. 2. Maintaining accurate records of employee compensation, tax withholding, benefits deductions, and other relevant information. This includes keeping track on leave management and any changes in employee status like transfer, promotions, resignations etc 3. Filing of Statutory returns ESIC,EPF, Professional Tax, Labor Welfare Fund, Full & Final Settlement, Income Tax, TDS. 4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing payroll, taxes, and labor practices. Strong in Contract Labor Regulation and Abolition Act(CLRA) compliance. This includes staying up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensuring that payroll processes adhere to them. 5. Handle off role payroll, accounting / invoicing and pay-outs. 6. Handle Employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. This includes enrolment, changes, and ensuring accurate deductions from employee pay checks. 7. Responds to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, deductions, and benefits. They provide assistance and guidance to employees regarding their compensation and benefits within specified timelines. 8. Preparation of MIS, salary file, employee Loans & Advances, statutory payment, tax documents, etc. 9. Handle internal / External audits, also conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance. They also generate reports for management and other departments, providing insights into payroll expenses, employee benefits utilization, and other relevant metrics. 10. Works closely with HO team, finance and accounting departments to reconcile payroll expenses, ensure accurate financial reporting, and address any discrepancies or issues.

Knowledge and Skills

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce/HR, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience

4 to 6 years experience in Payroll Management Functional Skills Required to execute the role Proven experience in Payroll Familiarity with HRIS software and tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Adaptability and flexibility. Technical Skills Required to execute the role Should have strong experience on end to end payroll processing Expertise in payroll platforms, HRIS DBMS, Entire Employee life cycle (From On boarding to exit). Experience with Adrenalin is a added advantage Any other requirements Language Fluency
