JD for Group Corporate Communication Level:
-AVP or DVP (on experience and merits) Experience (combination of Journalism, PR, Social Media and Corporate Communication): 8- 12 years Job location: Mumbai (BKC and Malad) Reporting: S VP – Group Corporate Communication Job Role: Full-Time Corporate Communication and PR for Kotak Mahindra Bank but not limited to the business. Combination of businesses and entities will be changed as per Group’s communication requirements. Stakeholder relationship management – internal and also media i.e. ensure ongoing media engagement for spokespersons. Work closely with business as well as with marketing teams, HR, Tech, CSR to understand their objectives and requirements and how best we can position it for various stakeholders using PR as a tool. Content development: media releases, announcements (long and short copy), articles, content contribution for annual report, website etc. but not limited to these areas. Requirement Media relations or exposure to media handling and reputation management is desirable Experience in business journalism is an added advantage Experience in handling PR and Social Media for tech companies, Fntechs is an added advantage Enjoys storytelling. Proficiency in English – spoken and written. Writing skills: Develop content including writing media releases, announcements (long and short copy), articles. Presentation skills: Writing and making presentation to internal stakeholders. Analytic skills: PR measurement and analytics - usage of advanced tools in analysing and preparing media reports Strong understanding of sentiment analysis vis-à-vis business and product performance is desirable. MIS: Writing MIS on daily coverages and weekly, monthly and quarterly updates and PR performance reports. Understanding of macro and micro-economic trends, BFSI sector, Capital Markets and Personal Finance Candidate with 10-15 years of experience having a combination of journalism, corporate communication and PR agency. Hands on experience in all major areas of communications - External & Internal communications, CSR Communications, Leadership communications, digital and social PR. Education: Graduate in any stream. Post graduate diploma in mass communications and PR and / or MBA will be an added advantage.Job tags
