Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive dance lessons, encompassing various dance styles and techniques.
- Instruct students in dance theory, choreography, and performance skills.
- Organize and direct school dance groups and prepare students for dance recitals and performances.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and artistic expression.
- Assess and evaluate students' dance progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining records of their development.
- Organize and participate in dance showcases and events to display students' talents.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance the overall dance education experience.
- Maintain dance studio, props, costumes, and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Dance Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification for dance instruction.
- Previous experience as a Dance Teacher or relevant dance teaching experience.
- Proficiency in various dance styles and choreography.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
