Job description
Key Purpose of the Job: To carry out the responsibilities of maintaining electrical systems by providing electrical power and equipment Educational Qualification / Experience required: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a chemical or petrochemical process industry with HT service, with knowledge on TNEB / Indian Electricity rules/Act. "C" License holder Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for maintaining the Electrical Installations/Emergency Diesel Generators such that these systems ensure continuous availability of power supply for plant operation. 2. Ensuring Electrical Safety through out the plant - for men and material 3. Monitor and control the power from TANGEDCO within the Quota limit and maintain the PF at optimum level 4. Monitor, Control and Manage the distribution of power during the power failure and Emergency situations 5. Responsible for access, trouble shoot and handover the equipments during emergency and breakdown maintenance 6. Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements of TNEB / CEIG
