Minimum Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree.
. 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
.Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
The primary activity of GAOC Accountant- AP would be execution of vendor master process. Working with internal stakeholders on vendor master requirements which needs priority handling and execution, as per company policy and within agreed time frame.
Job Description
- Manage end to end Vendor Master process,
- Work on payment rejections regularly.
- Should have understanding on document requirement to onboard vendor in specific regions (US/EMEA/India/APAC)
- Share accrual details to related to month-end team before close.
- Responsible to resolve queries from supplier and internal stakeholders.
- Need to maintain aging to current and proactively action to close.
- Perform call back verification with supplier as per SOX compliance guidelines.
- Partner with cross functional teams such as, procurement, requestors, etc., to maintain efficiency and transparency of critical vendor onboarding.
- Perform cleanup activities to vendor database.
- Support internal and external audit.
- Work closely with inter-department to have intercompany liability code correction.
- Publishing internal and external reports and metrics.
- Proactive communication with suppliers to convert check and wire payments to EFT.
Skills required
- Preferably 4+ years of relevant working experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience.
- Oracle R12 experience preferred.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and be self-driven.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities.
