The Youth, Music and English Entertainment cluster of Viacom18 is laser-focused on entertaining urban Indian youth across multiple platforms. MTV is an iconic brand which has extended beyond television to JioCinema OTT, consumer products and its sub-brands like Roadies are running successful gym, pub and caf franchises too. MTV Beats is the popular choice for Bollywood and Pop music for television audiences across urban Hindi markets. Vh1, Comedy Central and Colors Infinity round up the international content offering bouquet - from music to multi-genre entertainment - for the upscale urban youth. While the YME cluster has a very active and engaged user base on OTT and Social Media platforms, the business has already pivoted towards being future-ready, with digital-first brands like Fully Faltoo and KaanPhod Music. In a nutshell, the YME Cluster is a lean, agile, modular and consumer-focused team creating platform-agnostic content for the Indian youth.
What will you do
- Manage digital media assets and create content for all one or more brands in the YME cluster (MTV India, MTV Beats, Colors Infinity, Comedy Central, Vh1, Fully Faltoo, NFTs, Kaanphod)
- Cross collaborate with marketing and sales stakeholders within the YME ecosystem to deliver digital campaigns/content for YME brands
- Ideate and execute organic & paid digital campaigns for YME India properties
- Conceptualize & create social media content in video, stories, static formats
- Increase organic engagement on social media through content creation, moment marketing, trend analysis, social listening & social media analytics
- Drive effective paid media campaigns through efficient media planning, influencer collaborations & content partnerships
- Track trends to ideate & execute innovation on new technology & digital platform
- Understand marketing challenges and provide integrated (360 degree) ideas as solutions
- Providing support for marketing campaign ideation as well as execution on digital platforms
- Conceptualize and create content on-ground during campaign/show shoots
Who should apply
- 5 years of work experience in digital content marketing/social media marketing/ YouTube marketing
- Knowledge of - social media & YouTube analytics, tools for analysis & social listening.
- Passionate about exploring and creating content on new age digital platforms and trends
- A keen interest in entertainment-content/ music marketing & fast paced youth led brands;
- Strong communication and presentation skills; language proficiency in both Hindi & English
- A creator bent of mind which is on an always on learning & thoughtful experimentation mode
- Quick & calm thinker- ability to turn around quick solutions to marketing challenges, prioritize tasks & deliver timelines
