As a Business Analysis Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the ICB Regulatory Reporting Central Team, you will lead and build this team that will centralize and put governance to all ICB-owned regulatory reporting obligations with a detail-oriented, controls-mindset, and has rich experience working in a reporting environment that executes the right governance model.
Job responsibilities
- Acting as the lead and main point-of-contact within ICB Regulatory Reporting Central Team and responsibility leading, developing, and supporting a team of reporting analysts.
- Executing and improving the reporting governance framework which includes governance of the process, tools, workflows, controls, and end-to-end report lifecycle and making the book of work audit-ready.
- Accountable for end-to-end change delivery across ICB Regulatory Reporting requirements with direct impact to the existing suite of regulatory reports
- Onboarding existing regulatory reports into the team’s book of work from requirements gathering to return submission and everything in between.
- Accountability in ensuring the team executes accurately prepared and timely return submissions of all ICB Regulatory Reports to relevant stakeholders
- Partnering with various stakeholders in gathering new regulatory reporting obligations and changes, understanding impact, and then ultimately executing the impacts to the process and reports submitted.
- Liaising with various stakeholders within Customer Operations and Product, to fully understand strategic plans and roadmaps for future changes across various products within ICB that will require regulatory reporting.
- Managing re-prioritization of all product-related change requests relating to regulatory reporting directly scoping the actual changes and identifying impact to the existing suite of reports & looking for ways to reduce hours spent on building reports using various automation tools available in the Firm.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 10 years in Data & Reporting with particular focus on regulatory obligations in a financial service/banking environment
- 4 years Leadership & Management experience
- Use of MS Office Tools particularly MS Excel
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of UK FCA reporting obligations
- Ability to use SQL in querying data
