Job description

Essential Skills for an Instructional Designer with a minimum of 5+ Years of eLearning & Adult Learning Experience: 1. Mastery of the eLearning Development Landscape: Proven expertise in industry-standard authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia). We use Genially. Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS) integration, functionality and SCORM packages. We use the Allego Platform. Experience with diverse eLearning formats (e.g., branching scenarios, simulations, microlearning modules. 2. Adult Learning Principles & Instructional Design Expertise: Solid grasp of adult learning theory and principles (e.g., Andragogy, Knowles' 6 Principles). Ability to translate complex information into engaging and effective learning experiences, using story telling techniques. Transform complex information into clear, concise, and impactful learning modules, leveraging diverse eLearning formats like videos, audio, gamified simulations, and interactive exercises. Skilled in applying instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to ensure learning objectives are met. 3. Collaborative Content Creation & Project Management: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with subject matter experts, graphic designers, and developers. Proven ability to manage eLearning projects from conception to completion, meeting deadlines and budgets. Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). We use WRIKE and TEAMS Tasks. 4. Assessment & Evaluation Design and Implementation: Knowledge of assessment principles and best practices for measuring learning outcomes, i.e., Kirkpatrick Model. Skilled in designing and implementing formative and summative assessments aligned with learning objectives. Experience with data analysis and reporting to evaluate eLearning effectiveness. 5. Accessibility & Usability Focus: Commitment to creating accessible eLearning experiences that cater to diverse learners and comply with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.) Understanding of user-centered design principles and applying them to ensure intuitive and engaging learning interfaces. Experience with accessibility testing tools and methodologies. 6. Staying Ahead of the Curve: Proactive exploration of emerging eLearning technologies and trends (e.g., AR/VR, gamification, microlearning). Continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on the latest instructional design practices and tools. Eagerness to experiment and innovate to create cutting-edge learning experiences. 7. Passion for Adult Learning & Development: A genuine interest in adult learning and a desire to create impactful learning experiences that make a difference. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with learners and stakeholders. Enthusiasm for collaboration and a team-oriented approach to eLearning development
