Job Overview

At iCIMS, the Accounting Shared Services Senior Manager is hands-on management role responsible for the day-to-day financial operations handled by our team members located in our India office. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily oversight of the Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Financial Planning and Analysis and Sales Data processes and liaison with our US corporate team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the local Accounting Shared Services operations including Billing, AR, AP, Procurement, FP&A and data governance to achieve corporate financial targets and continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Point person for local team's questions, escalations, and problem solving.
  • Assess current processes and identify improvement opportunities and implement plans to achieve improvement.
  • Ensure the timely intake of vendor bills and resolve any processing delays; timely and accurate posting of cash receipts and that local AR team meets their monthly Cash Targets.
  • Manage month-end close as it relates to Accounting Shared Services
  • Assist team with prioritizing and handling inquiries to the Receivable and Payable email inboxes.
  • Liaison with accounting, tax and compliance vendors to ensure local accounting and tax policies are being adhered to.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and training material as needed.
  • Work with employees to implement goals and monitor staff performance and take appropriate action to improve performance as needed.
  • Develop and monitor important metric dashboards and other reports/controls for all shared services functions and resolve deviations as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline day-to-day shared service accounting operations and ensure compliance with the accounting standards, internal policies, and local accounting and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement cross-training strategy on all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions to ensure proper coverage.
  • Consistently ensure that business is conducted with integrity and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and values.
  • Assist with special projects and annual audits.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience required.
  • 5+ years in a Shared Services Leadership Role.
  • Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Commerce / Finance and a professional CA qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral) and ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees/management and effectively disseminate information.
  • Prior experience supporting and working with a US based company required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong working knowledge with India booking keeping/accounting/compliance.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a dynamic work environment while maintaining high standards of work quality.

Preferred

  • Experience working with ERP software, NetSuite preferred.
  • Salesforce knowledge - preferred.
