Role Description: Developer – Java Location - Gurugram Exp - 5-8 Years Shift - 12-9PM
We are looking for a Java Professional with a strong background in design and development of Java platforms. The candidate should have hands on exposure to design and development of user interfaces in Java. The successful candidate will be an adaptable individual, who enjoys driving projects to successful completion. The role will work closely with onshore North American IT teams using a mix of agile and iterative development methodologies, delivering Java design and development. The individual will use his/her knowledge of design, development, information security and IT architecture best practices to ensure delivery of robust applications that follow architectural processes and direction. Core Responsibility • Provide development delivery that is efficient, functional, and maintainable. • Apply analysis skills to understand and assess the impact of functional and technical changes within the environment and provide working estimates accordingly. • Work with leads to deliver projects. Be accountable for work and responsible for communicating effectively with Leads. • Is flexible to support business needs. • Create development documentation and support developers to do the coding. Do peer code reviews. • Support testing team while SQA phase of any project. • Communicate effectively with project managers, BSAs, designers and developers to solve technical issues and problems • Learn about our internal clients’ business, existing applications, the infrastructure that supports them and the design patterns used • Provide development estimates at various levels of a project to match the architectural solution • Ensure SLF Information Security Policies are complied to in any solution Eligibility • A University degree in Computer Science, related technology degree/diploma, or equivalent experience • Excellent Communication skills • Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities • Should have knowledge of application deployment and Software development life cycle. • 5-8 years of experience in development in J2EE framework. Technical Skills • UI Technologies : JSP, Bootstrap, java script, jquery, AJAX ,HTML, CSS, experience on either Angular Framework, React will be nice to have. • Back end Technologies : Spring Boot, JWT Authorization, Java 1.8 or above, J2EE, SOA ( SOAP and REST webservices),Hibernate/JPA, Spring MVC Spring-Data, Automation unit testing using Selenium, Mockito/PowerMock, XML, XSLT, Enterprise Service Bus, SQL/Oracle • DevOps Tools: Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube • Build Tools: Ant/Maven/Gradle • Database: Oracle/Sql Server • Hands on experience in Weblogic/Websphere Liberty servers Commitment to quality, code/design review and software development best practices.
