The LCL GSC Agent is responsible for effectively managing the processes for Export/Import LCL ocean shipments, ensuring the quality of our service, and giving timely and accurate responses to Internal/External customer and service providers.

As a part of LCL Freight forwarding process, you will get an opportunity to share team of experienced colleagues in the Maersk LNS services, where we strive to deliver the best service for our customers. The LCL GSC Agent is responsible for effectively managing the processes for Export/Import LCL ocean shipments, ensuring the quality of our service, and giving timely and accurate responses to Internal/External customer and service providers.Handle all EUR Export/Import processes for LCL shipments, Documentation & Invoicing
Proactively monitors and manages the end-to-end shipment process in compliance with all company procedures.
Ensures services are delivered to the customers as promised.
Understands the customer's business pattern and leverages them to continuously Improve.
Has responsibility for handling daily Customer Service tasks and interacts with Internal Stakeholders.
Understand and be familiar with local KPIs and act in line with set targets. Drive continuous improvements opportunities.
The position is be based in Airoli, Navi Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
Has accountability for preparation of Export/Import Jobs & Invoicing and submission of the same timely and accurately to stakeholders & Customers.
Adheres to IOPs and deviations to be checked prior with stakeholders.
Focuses on data quality to ensure SLAs are met.
Understanding/training of Processes and IOPs for HBL & MBL Creation
May perform root cause analyses in the event of escalations.
May train new hires on the process(es).
Internal stakeholders - Area Colleagues, Finance teams for handling operations and Finops process.
Finops tasks - Financial aspect of LCL, Job costing, Invoice generation, soft closure
What we're looking for -
Required Experience & Skills :
Minimum 2-3 Years Working experience in LCL Import/ Export Freight forwarding process.
Knowledge of local and international ocean processes and for LCL operations
Knowledge of LCL Buyer's Consolidation processes and policies would be an advantage.
Experience & Knowledge of Cargo wise & SAP application.
Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
Operational Financial Savvy (Selling rate. Buying rate, Gross Profit calculation, dispute handling and resolution)
Intermediate advance level of English (Written and Spoken)
Excel Intermediate: know how to build dynamic tables and simple Macros would be an advantage.
AI & Power BI is a plus.
Team player - Works together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fosters teamwork.
Positive/Agile Mindset and should possess analytical skills.
Flexible to work in any shift.
