Job description
Role :We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable DevOps Engineer for preventing and mitigating security breaches that may arise within the company's cloud servers. Our ideal candidate must be efficient and sound in the field of information security, network security, mobile security, and cloud infrastructure planning. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, modifying, and managing the overall system architecture for strategy. Your focus will be on AWS and Azure-related services (Or any other cloud-based service), WLAN, networks & security risks mitigation.Responsibilities :Working collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systemsDesigning, developing, implementing, and managing infrastructure for engineering using DevOps methodologiesResponsible for Continuous Delivery/IntegrationMaintaining and enhancing build/deployment pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery of changes to improve the quality and availability of our productHelp automate and streamline our operations and processesBuild and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operationsTroubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environmentsRegularly perform security checks and troubleshootingIdentify problems in a timely mannerSuggest and implement solutions for improvementTrack existing processes and offer solutions for improvementImplement new processes with the goal to optimize the company's security systemStay up to date with the latest security technology and trendsAttend related conferences and educational events to stay competentWork with the development teamPerform regular audits and provide reportsMonitor the company's server traffic and ticketsEnsuring the security, availability, performance, scalability, and automation of our infrastructureEnsuring reliable and ongoing measurement and monitoring of our infrastructureQualifications :Bachelor's degree (Preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, related discipline, or equivalent experience required.5-8 years of work experience, 5+ years focused on infrastructure/DevOps engineeringAzure Certification is a mustStrong background in Linux/Unix Administration is mustStrong experience with AWS, Azure, and infrastructure management toolsExperience with AWS & Azure is required.Must have experience in AWS products like ELB, EC2, S3, Cloud Watch, SES, etc.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExperience with CI servers such as Jenkins, Travis or similar typesKnowledge of potential attack vectors such as XSS, injection, hijacking, social engineering, and so onKnowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IPKnowledge and experience with and as well as their underlying implementationsKnowledge of Content Delivery NetworksBasic programming knowledgeKnowledge of Agile Development processesStrong communication with an excellent ability to work in a team environmentExperience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, Salt stack, or an equivalentAbility to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud servicesStrong experience with SQL and NoSQLA working understanding of code and script (Python, Perl and/or Ruby,Node.js)Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available serviceSystem and network security best practicesExperience in modern distributed solution architectureLoad balancing, reverse proxying experience.
