Medical Coding is the process of converting Verbal Descriptions into numeric or alpha numeric by using ICD 10-CM, CPT HCPCS. As per HIPAA rules healthcare providers need efficient Medical Coders.

Role
- To review US medical records.
- To review surgical procedures, pre & post-surgical care.
- To prepare medical submissions.
Skills
- Basic knowledge in Anatomy and Physiology.
- Basic communication & interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge in reading doctors orders, frequency and disciplines.
- Ability to discuss information about patients, reach out to physicians & authorization follow up.
