Job description

TORM is looking for a brilliant People Assistant to support our increased requirements in India. TORM's overall strategic goal is to become the Reference Company within the product tanker industry, and we strive to achieve this through our 'One TORM' platform. The position is a great opportunity to work in an international environment.

What we can offer

This position reports to the Head of People, India, and will be part of a team of nine across India, Denmark, and the Philippines. Together, we are responsible for the development and implementation of People operations and strategies which support the One TORM platform.

You will be responsible for:

• Handling end-to-end recruitment projects in coordination with the hiring manager and recruitment agencies
• Handling onboarding of new employees which includes complete pre-joining and joining formalities
• Exit formalities of leavers
• Planning new employee induction and familiarization with the entire office
• Organizing employee engagement activities throughout the year
• Day-to-day People operations and ad-hoc activities

To succeed in the job

We are looking for a person who thrives in a dynamic and exciting work environment. You have a relevant theoretical background, such as a bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, or similar qualifying degree. You probably have two to three years of experience from an HR function, in particular within recruitment and administration.

You are a good communicator, approachable and possess strong stakeholder management skills. You thrive with learning new things and have a positive approach.

Furthermore, you have/are:

• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Responsible and full of initiative
• Good IT skills
• Strong execution skills
• Structured and organized
• Problem solving and judgement skills
