Job description
Location: Thane, Mumbai
Time: 2 pm to 10 pm (Monday to Friday) 1 day hybrid
Mode: Work from Office.
Designation: Electro-Mechanical Engineer
Experience needed: 3 to 8 year.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to develop new or enhanced products and derivatives for market release.
- Take ownership of project deliverables, including design drawings, design review action items, supporting documentation, packaging, instruction sheets, etc.
- Create electrical circuit schematics and design Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), with a preference for lighting products/LEDs.
- Utilize working knowledge of PCB design software and schematic editors.
- Preferably, utilize working knowledge of OrCAD design software and schematic editor.
- Influence, review, and critique the designs of others, ensuring adherence to best practices and incorporation of lessons learned.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently at various phases of development.
- Collaborate with a team to analyze risks and identify issues early in the design process, leveraging various internal Focal Point resources as necessary.
- Employ a hands-on approach to product design, closely collaborating with manufacturing.

Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge, and Experience
- 3-6 years of professional engineering work experience, preferably in PCB design and Value Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software required, with SolidWorks preferred.
- Working knowledge of OrCAD design software.
- Experience in PCB design, with a preference for lighting products.
- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams on projects or within organizations.
