Job description
Shipsy is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Solutions Architect/Business Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative solutions for our clients in the logistics and shipping industry. As a Solutions Architect at Shipsy, you will work closely with our clients, development teams, and other stakeholders to create robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that address complex business challenges.
Location: Gurgaon Previous: Current experience in Supply chain/Logistics is mandatory Should be currently working as Solutions Architect or Product Manager role Key Responsibilities: Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and challenges. Design end-to-end solutions that align with client needs and Shipsy's product offerings. Create architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation. Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business goals and recommending optimal technical solutions. Present and explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work closely with the sales and pre-sales teams to support client engagements. Prototyping and Proof of Concepts: Develop prototypes and proof of concepts to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions. Iterate on solutions based on feedback and testing. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure successful solution delivery. Work closely with third-party vendors and integration partners. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Shipsy's technology stack and development processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Solutions Architect/Product Manager in the logistics or shipping industry. Strong proficiency in system architecture, microservices, and cloud computing (preferably AWS or Azure). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Solid understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with API design and integration. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
