Job Overview:

 

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the Revenue & Operational aspects of the Cable TV business. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in sales and operations management in the cable/broadcasting/Telecom/ DTH industry in strategic planning, and team management. The COO will work closely with the executive team of South & East to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Sales & Strategy:  Collaborate with the execution team of Circles to develop and execute

strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives with respect to AOP

for New Connections, Renewals, Churn and empanelling Distributors and LCOs for

Revenue enhancement

2. Operational Oversight : Oversee all operational aspects of the cable TV company, including customer service, technical operations, network management, and programming

3. Team Management:  Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

4. Process Improvement:  Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency across all departments.

5. Regulatory Compliance:  Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure that the company remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

6. Customer Experience:  Champion a customer-centric culture and drive initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.

7. Risk Management:  Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize business disruptions and ensure business continuity.

8. Technology Integration:  Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the cable TV industry and identify opportunities for technological innovation.

9. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and technology, to achieve company objectives and drive growth.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

1. MBA Graduate

2. 20 24 Yrs of Work Experience in which minimum 10 Yrs in Cable/Broadcasting/Telecom industry/DTH

3. Age Group: Between 42 50 Yrs

4. Experience in South and East markets will be preferred along with regional language ability

5. Currently accountable for the P&L of the organization at CXO level

6. Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the cable TV/broadcasting/telecom/DTH industry, with a strong understanding of cable television operations and business

7. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive business growth and operational excellence

8. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams

9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions

10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
