As a DevOps Engineer at LIC, you will be a key player in ensuring the
smooth and efficient deployment and operation of our software applications. You will be responsible for automating and optimizing our development and operations processes, enhancing our CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining our infrastructure.
Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, configure, and maintain the CI/CD pipelines to facilitate the automated deployment and testing of applications.
Collaborate with development and IT teams to design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
Monitor, optimize, and maintain cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions to maintain system reliability.
Implement security measures to safeguard our applications and infrastructure.
Automate manual processes and streamline development and operations workflows.
Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to ensure DevOps practices align with project requirements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and emerging practices.
Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2-4 years of professional experience in DevOps and automation.
Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline setup and management.
Proficiency in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and tools like Terraform.
Strong scripting and automation skills (eg, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Bonus Skills:
Knowledge of microservices architecture and best practices.
Experience with database administration and management.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
