Job DescriptionJob Profile / Tasks list
· Analyze Customer System requirements and derive SW requirements.
· Define the functional and non-functional requirements for SW Architecture
· Derive the SW HLD and LLD from SW requirement specifications.
· Review the SW development artifacts (SRS, HLD, LLD, Source Code, Test Specs & Reports)
· Provide technical coaching to System designers, Developers and Integrators
· Perform detailed impact analysis for design changes due to defects or change requests.
· Analyze the HW schematic, debug software defects, and provide solutions for the issues.
· Define unit, Integration and Functional test strategy to ensure SW quality.
· Support System FMEA and lead SW FMEA
· Technically drive the SW projects towards the delivery schedules.
· Provide regular update to the customer and key stakeholders on the SW project status.
· Analyze the customer RFQ’s and provide effort estimation for topics and risks foreseen.
· Collaborate with HW and Application engineers for SW development activities.
Knowledge & desired skills required
· Thorough knowledge on Embedded System Design and Development
· Good hands on experience in developing Complex Device Drivers (CDD) for different chipsets like data acquisition, voltage regulation, communication interface etc.
· Rich Experience in working with different tools used in SDLC
· Experience in model based and manual software development
· Experience in UML based tools like Rhapsody/Enterprise Architect
· Hands on experience on using tools like CANoe, INCA, UDE etc.
· Experience with Quality process & Safety-standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262.
· Experience in software optimization (CPU, Memory etc.)
· Knowledge in analyzing the HW Schematic diagram, Data sheets etc.
· Worked in HIL environment or any Closed test environment
· Knowledge in any scripting tool (perl, python, CAPL etc)
· Experience in implementing communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Flex Ray, Ethernet
· Experience in SW Development in conformance with ISO26262.
